END OF TERM ARRANGEMENTS
Friday 20 December

School will close for the end of term at 1:00pm on Friday 20 December. 

The restaurant will operate the normal break time service but there will be no opportunity to purchase food after break time. Students entitled to Free School Meals may make use of their allocation at breaktime.

Students are free to leave school after dismissal by their tutor at 1pm to travel home. However, due to changes in the Reading Buses process, our school buses will NOT leave school until the usual scheduled time of 3.25pm.

If your child needs to remain in school between 1pm and 3:25pm in order to travel home safely via the school buses, please complete the form via the following link, no later than 3:25pm on Monday 16 December, in order for us to make necessary arrangements: https://forms.office.com/e/AgjxAYSRfx

Please note that we will not be able to accept any names after Monday 16 December. If this form is not completed, we will assume that your child is leaving the school site at 1pm.

School reopens for staff and students on Monday 6 January 2025.

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS 
Attendance Challenge

Students who have 100% attendance between Thursday 5 and Friday 20 December will be entered into a prize draw on the last day of term.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH REMINDER
Thursday 12 December

The Christmas lunch takes place on Thursday 12 December in the restaurant. This is only for students who have booked and prepaid for their meal. 

There will be two lunch sittings:

Years 7 & 8 from 12.20pm – 1.05pm

Years 9,10 & 11 from 1.20pm – 2.05pm

If your child is not having a Christmas Lunch, please be aware that there will be a limited alternative food selection which will be served in the 'Little Kitchen'. You may prefer to give your child a packed lunch on this day.

All students and staff will be invited to wear Christmas Jumpers or Christmas Hats on this day, regardless of whether they are having Christmas Lunch.
