Year 10 Cultivate Success in Business Competition
Some of our Year 10 Business students recently took part in an interschools business challenge called Cultivate, organised by the Education Business Partnership, and sponsored by Zebra Technologies. The students had to come up with a new product and business idea connected with Zebra Technologies. Four of our teams from Little Heath School were shortlisted and made it into the final at their head office. As part of this challenge, the students have been receiving mentoring for the past few months organised by external business people in order to create a business plan, create a promotional video and help them to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.
All of the students who took part worked incredibly hard to put all of this together and we are delighted to announce that Ben came first with his "Smart Trolley" idea taking home the £500 winners prize! As well as this, another team of LHS students, Maysam and Lenita were the runners-up with their "Smart Pillow" idea taking home the £250 runners-up prize. We are so incredibly proud of them, as well as all of the other teams that put so much work into their projects!
